Growing Trust, Cultivating Change
Abimax is proud to welcome Paula Glogovac of Lala’s Family Farm as our first-ever U.S. Partner Ambassador, a Master Gardener, community advocate, and passionate grower rooted in purpose as deeply as the crops she cultivates. Paula grows vegetables, herbs and fruits on a five-acre, three-generation family farm in Sebastopol, California, using organic principles that honour both land and people. Her philosophy is refreshingly simple: good food should be accessible to everyone. At Lala’s Family Farm, “pay what you can – take what you need ‘’ isn’t a slogan - it’s a lived practice. Through an honour-based farm stand system, Paula invites her local community to enjoy fresh, seasonal produce while strengthening trust and connection between grower and neighbour.
Paula’s journey into food cultivation was shaped through her studies with the Alameda County Master Gardeners, where she dedicated countless volunteer hours to education, community events, and inspiring others to grow and eat their own food. Today, supported by her family, she continues this mission as an active member of the Sonoma County Master Gardeners Association, blending lifelong learning with hands-on farming every day.
Her partnership affiliation started with Abimax after she purchased Magnostream devices in September 2025, when she reached out to Abimax with a clear purpose: to rigorously test magnetic water treatment across her farm and track real-world gains in plant health, soil vitality, water efficiency, and long-term resilience. For the Abimax team, partnering with Paula is a dream realised. Trials are now underway, beginning with outdoor garlic plantings in November and expanding to greenhouse systems soon after. Early observations already point to faster cabbage seed germination, and this is just the beginning.
With Paula leading the way, we’re gaining hands-on, real-time insights into magnetic water treatment and plant husbandry, drawn directly from the soil of a working organic farm dedicated to growing food with purpose. In February 2026, in response to recent U.S. federal funding cuts affecting food banks nationwide, Lala’s Family Farm, invited Abimax to launch a community-driven fundraising initiative to support the Redwood Empire Food Bank in Santa Rosa, turning on-farm action into meaningful community support.
Lala’s Family Farm Partnership Turns Magnetic Water Systems Into Cash Donations for Redwood Empire Food Bank
Sebastopol, CA - When federal funding cuts began tightening the strain on food banks nationwide, Paula Glogovac didn’t wait for solutions to come from elsewhere. The owner of Lala’s Family Farm and a Master Gardener, Paula has launched a community-powered fundraising initiative to support the Redwood Empire Food Bank in Santa Rosa, transforming her personal affiliate earnings into direct food access for local families.
Lala’s Family Farm, nestled in Sebastopol, is best known for its philosophy “Pay What You Can – Take What You Need” from a produce stand, is an honour-based model rooted in trust, dignity, and care. This new initiative extends that same philosophy beyond the farm gate, reinforcing the farm’s long-standing commitment to equitable food access and community resilience.
Founded in 1987, the Redwood Empire Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief organisation in the region, serving Sonoma County and surrounding communities. Through a network of partner agencies and direct distribution programs, the Food Bank provides food to tens of thousands of people each month, including families, seniors, children, and individuals facing economic hardship.
At the heart of the fundraising effort is Abimax’s Magnostream Garden Range- a non-chemical magnetic water treatment solution designed to support healthier soil, stronger plant growth, and more efficient water use. Through a partnership with Abimax, 100% of Paula’s personal affiliate fees from Magnostream sales are being donated directly to the Redwood Empire Food Bank. To encourage community participation, customers receive a 10% discount on Magnostream products through a dedicated link.
Abimax is amplifying the impact to create donations to Redwood Empire Food Bank by matching the initiative, donating an additional 10% of product value from each qualifying sale. All combined donations will support the Food Bank’s essential food distribution programs at a time when reduced federal support has increased pressure on local hunger-relief organisations.
“This initiative is about acting where we can,” said Paula Glogovac. “When public funding is reduced, community action becomes even more important. This is a simple way to turn everyday purchases into meaningful local support.” The matched-giving model ensures every purchase delivers multiple benefits: gardeners receive a discount, home growing systems are strengthened, and food bank resources expand to meet rising community needs. “Partnerships like this show how individuals and businesses can respond locally to national challenges,” said James McDonald, Managing Partner at Abimax.
